Nuts are incredibly healthy. They're loaded with minerals, fibre and protein and are a convenient snacking alternative. But raw nuts contain antinutrients which can inhibit the absorption of minerals and cause a number of digestive problems - especially when you're eating large quantities.
The process of activating nuts involves soaking them in a prepared solution and then properly dehydrating them. Activating nuts removes much of the phytic acid and enzymes that cause digestive problems.
